Eternal insecurity is the basis of liberation

For some time I had been contemplating upon the life of a friend and one of my teachers, who has dedicated this life in service to Master Saint Germain. What was beyond the logic of my rational mind was his natural way of remaining in sync with his Master's wish and will. This has also been the case with my other gurus including Blavatsky, Bailey, Sri Aurobindo, Cedercrans and a few more.

A partial answer to this enigma was intuitively recognized in that aha moment when I read a profound message of another initiate, Vicente Beltrán Anglada (whose secret diary I recently read as recommended to me by another friend who warned me that not every initiate is anglo-saxon and he was correct): "Eternal insecurity is the basis of liberation !"

A. Security and Selfishness (Remember Djwal Khul's statement ? - Unselfish people are not rare. Unselfish groups are very rare.)

The lower self (consciousness of mental, emotional and physical bodies) is always eager for security. When a man is polarized in the consciousness of lower self, he is constantly seeking security in the ephemeral, in the transitory, thereby wasting the best of himself. He then utterly enters his own center of gravitation separated from the whole and begins to act as an individuality but never as a group. Aren't we humans all attached to securities, that we all have small or large selfishness and that we are rarely humble ? We all believe that we are the center of creation, and so we are all developing a system of truths to monopolize them to our liking, that is, more synthetically, from a fixed point in space we are trying to capture the truth of that which is eternal. movement, and there begins the contradiction. This is the root cause of all those wars being waged on the planet. There we have the essential reason for what we call antisociality. Man had become antisocial, because he fears insecurity. What is the root of human selfishness ? It is an unrestrained desire for security. Security is always at the base of human civilization; It is for this reason that we think in terms of the individual and speak in terms of eras in a solely descriptive sense, without realizing that everything that happens today with all its technical greatness and its great social chaos, where sublimity exists in the art, in history, in civilization, in technology, in philosophy and in psychology, we realize how fundamentally regressive values exist. It is natural that this happens since we find ourselves in the absolute insecurity of a change of eras. Who will remain safe and stable in this dark void? Moreover since higher self never gives security in action, it will make many world disciples and many good faith aspirants go back to the past and retreat to the starting point for fear of facing that peak moment of insecurity. However therein secretly lies the grace of liberation.

B. The Challenge of Transitional Era

The pschological pressure of our transitional times, is tremendously distressing for the awakened and advanced souls, and is bringing them closer to the cusp of a process where the intellect or rational mind, as we know it in its normal, analytical and discerning activity, has practically stoped being useful to them. This is leading them to a gradual awakening of a new sense of perception - beyond the known mind - which we esoterically define as "Inuition" which is vehicle of yoga of synthesis that will be practiced by the coming sixth race in Theosophical parlance. A few men are evolving from analytical intellect to the natural state of intuitive synthesis consciousness.

The problem is how to face the dilemma of the great void of insecurity that will inevitably have to arise within the conscience at this transition and how to overcome, in facing it, the powerful attraction of the individual past with all its desires, hopes and fears.

Synthesis is the expression of a great balance in the life of the human personality. And it will be possible to arrive at this magical balance within the heart only by avoiding the mind, which is the support of reason and understanding, from dealing with the small things which, piled up inside the being, constitute the basis of the existing imbalance, as in individual as well as in society. The problem, therefore, is not how to arm the mind for a new activity or to win a new battle or a new clash, but to completely dismantle it from any type of activity or aggression, because only a truly silent and serenely waiting mind, authentically solitary, she will be able to capture the superior intuitions that come from the buddhic regions, bringing an authentic celestial message to the human heart. The mind must be the faithful mirror of the timeless reality that constantly tries to reveal itself. The initiatory Mysteries end up being waves of light and life that come from those sublime levels in which the divine reality converted into fiery Will within the human heart is converted into AGNI YOGA, in the perfect balance of the coordinated action of Reason and Love.

Loneliness, in any case, is always an internal mystery that signals the path of Synthesis and is generally preserved in spiritual insecurity, an insecurity that the disciple is not always willing to accept, regardless of his high level of internal integration, due to the constant permanence of pre-established psychological values in his life which regulate and condition his individual and social expressiveness. Therefore, moving from the cherished and palatable security to the warmth of mental and emotional comfort that material possessions and spiritual knowledge provide, to the critical state of solitude, will undoubtedly require a spiritual bounty of gigantic expressions. AGNI YOGA demands this bounty, since it does not offer immediate and short-range solutions - which is what man's lower personality constantly begs for - but signals the prospects of radical and eternal solutions.

There is a great lesson for us in considering the adaptability of water which in its natural state is perfectly modeled on all containers capable of containing it... In the same way the disciple will have to learn progressively and without any other means of his natural understanding, the technique of adaptation, which does not imply a submissive compromise in the face of the conditions operating in the environment.

C. The Magical Insecurity

Over time and following the determinants of an incessant process of accumulation we have created a psychological personality based on the security and discipline of this personality. The day we realize that this discipline is allied or part of the conservation and perpetuation of such a personality through the temporal goods and radical values of the “I” that crystallized over time have given rise to our current psychological being, perhaps we will look at the process that gives rise to our basic disciplines under a new perspective or a new type of vision.

We will progressively realize that the immense perspectives of the eternal, the great cosmic opportunities and the subsequent resolution of the tremendous psychological drama that our karmic personality poses to us, are present at the root of any fact, event or circumstance of our particular life or life. social. That is, “here and now” is the mystical center of Liberation. Therefore, to return to the immaculate Heavens from which we mystically come, we must decide for the simple and uncomplicated existence of the disciple trained in spiritual science, who faces the karmic trials of life in all its depth, serenely immersed in a deep ocean of “insecurity”, intelligently sustained by virtue of a tremendous and positive faith in the immortal values of the Spirit.

Have you realized the omnipotent value that underlies that state of “insecurity”, where personal desires and immoderate desires to be “someone” in social or spiritual life, have been practically reduced to ZERO, to the most absolute NADIR? Have you ever been aware that our beloved disciplines in the spiritual order and our forecasts and calculations are generally based on a great fear of the future and a tremendous lack of faith in themselves, that is, on an excessive desire for security? in all known orders, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual?

If we realized this reality, perhaps we would undertake a new type of action for the future or for the immediate present. To some of us such statements may seem harsh, unforgiving, or lacking in mystical charm. I wonder, however... Why do we want these fleeting consolations or these brilliant hopes that, like lightning, illuminate us intensely for a few seconds and then leave us plunged into an even blacker and deeper darkness? It may also happen that we do not want to directly face the judgment of the facts. If so, we must feel very logically disheartened because, as we have said before, spiritual reality is found precisely in such events as they happen or happen inside or outside of us and it is only through the direct confrontation of them, in the supreme attempt to discover the spiritual purpose that is latent in its hidden and unknown folds, that we will achieve Liberation and that it can only be conquered through these apparently insignificant points of light of our daily actions. If we discover them, if we exercise them and if we update them, we will know by experience what Liberation is, what Peace and true Freedom are...

Albert Einstein on Intuition

Albert Einstein and Rabindranath Tagore In Berlin , Germany - Some selected quotes and thoughts of Albert Einstein on intuition - The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. We will not solve the problems of the world from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives.  I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.  The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it Intuition or what you will, the solu

More on Synthesis

Again we shall contemplate on a few more words on the wisdom of synthesis (navigating the "narrow razor-edged Path" between duality or the "noble middle path" of Buddha) from our beloved DK. However I wish to emphasize that Djwal Khul and Alice Bailey demonstrated practical (not just theoretically) synthesis. For instance Alice Bailey being born in the west was open enough to acknowledge and bring forth teachings from a far wiser eastern/oriental master Djwal Khul. She could both surrender herself (a difficult quality to develop for the western concrete mind with its overemphasis on freedom) and at the same time was careful enough to guard herself against foolish blind devotion (a vice of oriental masses). Another disciple who demonstrated practical synthesis was Blavatsky (synthesis of religions). She established Theosophical society headquarters in the west and soon shifted it to the east although she worked and died for the cause of theosophy in the west. One mo

What is a seed-thought ?

One of my friends questioned me: What is a seed-thought ? This post attempts to throw some light with example, on the concept of a seed-thought. Here is how we define it: "A seed-thought is simply a thought-form or a phrase or symbolic words which conceal a fundamental truth and acts as a seed that sprouts in a contemplative meditation (meditation with a seed) revealing that truth." A Seed-thought being a (thought-)form, we need to look also the broader concept of "form as a symbol", of which a seed-thought is just an example. Earlier we tabulated so many example of trinities. "Purpose - Idea - Form" is one such trinity of symbol. What this means is that every symbol has three interpretations - as a from it is an expression of some underlying idea. This idea has behind it, in its turn, a deeper underlying purpose. These three interpretations of a symbol can be summarized as: 1. Exoteric interpretation:  Based on its objective utility and upon the nature o
