Question I: What is the hidden algebraic formula to maintain a friction equal to zero in the lower vehicles when the Fire of Shamballa directly impacts dense matter? The Algebraic Formula is the complementary 1-2-4-6, related to the Law of Attraction and the elimination of friction on the lower 18 (=7+7+4) planes of group personality. Zero friction is maintained between group nodes (members), subject to intuitive mastery of the following formula of approach by group members (composed of accepted disciples and initiates, where none is better, greater, or more developed than the aggregate of group lives within it): “Let the group see that all the eighteen fires die down and that the lesser lives return unto the reservoir of life. This they must bring about through the evocation of the Will. The lesser wheels must not for aye revolve in time and space. Only the greater Wheel must onward move and turn.” The eighteen fires are the eighteen states of matter constituting the personality: 7 physical states of matter, 7 emotional states enabling the astral body to function on the seven subplanes of the astral plane, and 4 states of matter corresponding to the four conditions of the concrete mind (7 + 7 + 4 = 18). These are the 18 grades of substance, 18 vibratory groups of atoms, and 18 aggregates of life which form the bodies of the lunar lords in The Secret Doctrine, and which in their totality form the body of the Lunar Lord—the personality. Pondering on the first line will lead to those actions which “produce the death, dissipation, and final dissolution of the personality through the ending of karma.” Indeed, it is the death of desire and a scientific process of ending individual and national karma that militates against liberation. It is brought about by the automatic, ceaseless, and unquestioning fulfillment of duty from the angle of recognized service. He shifts in realization away from form (third aspect) and consciousness (second aspect) to the will and life aspect (first aspect). His sense of “I” shifts to “I am that I am”—that “I” which is the will-to-be that has found itself through the will-to-good. This becomes consciously possible because, having developed awareness of two divine aspects—creative activity and love—he is now focused in the highest aspect and knows himself to be the Will, the Monad, the One. At the fourth initiation, all that remains is a point of light—conscious, immutable, and aware of the two extremes of divine expression: the sense of individual identity and the sense of universality. These are fused and blended in the ONE. In the state of being which we call the monadic, no difference is recognized between these two because it is realized that there is no identity apart from universality, and no appreciation of the universal apart from individual realization. This realization—identification with both the part and the whole—finds its point of tension in the will-to-be, which is qualified by the will-to-good and developed (from the consciousness angle) by the will-to-know. Answer - The geometric vector to be introduced is the truly invocative life of a fused personality and soul, functioning as a consciously blended and focused unit. It is the warmth and heat of shining, clear, cold light—evoked by real group love—which prevents the pressure of group will from inducing the combustion of the isolated personality. Each brother must truly express the quality contained in the formula: “I am one with my group brothers, and all that I have is theirs. May the love which is in my soul pour forth to them. May the strength which is in me lift and aid them. May the thoughts which my soul creates reach and encourage them.” The descent of the group will (1-2-3), through the vertical channel (1-3-7), must have a direct and unimpeded relation with its tangible expression upon the physical plane—the horizontal channel of the 12-144 operative matrix of personalities—via the group antahkarana, the bridge connecting these channels. How is this achieved? A. Through the group standing focused within the head’s clear light—the pure intuitive reason of the heart (3-6-9-12)—thus making the group antahkarana tenacious and endowed with sufficient magnetic containment and pull. The group of disciples must be distinguished by pure reason, which will steadily supersede motive, eventually merging into the group will aspect of the Monadic causal purpose (1-3-7-21)—its major aspect. Technically speaking, this will eventually result in Shamballa standing in direct relation with humanity, when the Ashrams have externalized within humanity instead of functioning so far as inner intermediaries. B. When the group will aspect streams from the vertical channel and focuses through the personal wills of the horizontal channel, it destroys—by electric fire—all elements of personality will that constitute the fires of friction. When the group antahkarana is correctly constructed, the individualized group-will disappears within the full consciousness of the Monadic purpose, or clear directed will. As the Monadic causal purpose—or group will (of which the egoic group will is the reflection and the individualized group will the distortion)—is gradually transmitted via the group antahkarana directly to the personalities upon the physical plane, it produces the higher correspondence of transmutation and transformation. The result is the assimilation of the individualized group will and the egoic group will into the Monadic group will, which is the purpose—undeviating and unalterable—of the `One in Whom we live and move and have our being'. The burning, purifying, and destructive effects of the Monadic will upon its distorted reflection—the individual will—lead to the burning ground having accomplished its work. Eventually, as the energy of Shamballa streams forth and makes direct contact with humanity (omitting the transmission via the Hierarchy, which has hitherto been customary), a destructive conflagration—or world burning ground—may result, leading to a new world civilization and a new culture. C. When real group love exists, it produces the lessening of the personality will, the evocation of the sacrificial egoic will, and a constantly growing capacity to identify the group with the Monadic causal purpose. The basic attitude of each node in the 12-144 horizontal matrix must be one of purpose, governed by pure reason and expressed through spiritual activity. First, this involves the merging of the personality self-will into the sacrificial will of the soul. When this is accomplished, it leads to the revelation of the Divine Will. Second, it means the release of the faculty of spiritual perception and intuitive understanding. This involves the negation of the activity of the lower or concrete mind, the lower personal self, and the subordination of the knowledge aspect of the soul to the clear, pure light of divine understanding. When these two factors begin to become active, we witness the emergence of true spiritual activity upon the physical plane, motivated from the high source of the Monad and implemented through the pure reason of the intuition.
