Ashram and Auroville: One of Centres of Synthesis in Cedercrans writings

The other day in the eastern molecular meeting of Joseph Dewey (Author of Immortal Series and his encounters with John Apostle), I brought up discussion on "Sri Aurobindo and The Mother". I read on the esoteric astrologer website a dialogue between Dr. Michael Robbins (Founder of University of Seven Rays) and Lyn Hebenstreit, where both agree Sri Aurobindo being a high degree initiate. Lyn goes further suggesting the Auroville to be one of the nine planetary “centers of synthesis” that Master R refers to in Lucille Cedercran's teachings. I felt sharing a few of my experiences which concur with Lyn's experiences. The "supramental man of Sri Aurobindo", "Sixth Root race man", "New Age intuitive man of Bailey" and "Man with Wisdom of Synthesis of Cedercarns" to me inwardly resonates to the same point where humanity is evolving !

H.P. Blavatsky wrote in the Secret Doctrine that there are seven branches of knowledge mentioned in the Puranas:—S. D., I, 192 comprising of the six schools of Indian philosophy being the six principles.—S. D., I, 299. These six schools are:

1. The school of Logic Proof of right perception. 2. The atomic school System of particulars. Elements. Alchemy and chemistry. 3. The Sankhya school System of numbers. The materialistic school. The theory of the seven states of matter or prakriti. 4. The school of Yoga Union. The rule of daily life. Mysticism. 5. The school of Ceremonial Religion Ritual. Worship of the devas or Gods. 6. The Vedanta school Has to do with non-duality. Deals with the relation of Atman in man to the Logos. 7. The Gnosis, the hidden Knowledge, is the seventh Principle, the seventh being the synthesis of the six.

In his extensive writings (as far as I am able to grasp) Sri Aurobindo touches upon these ancient Indian knowledge systems mentioned by H.P.B. focussing especially on Sixth and Seventh principles leading to the synthesis of yoga which he terms as Integral Yoga. Mirra Alfassa, The Mother or La Mère, was considered by  Sri Aurobindo to be of equal yogic stature (or in Alice Bailey's words initiate of the same degree) to him. The seventh ray aspect (physical mainfestation) of their work was taken up by her and she established Ashram (centre for synthesis of yoga) and Auroville (experimental city of human unity and synthesis). Having resided in Auroville as a volunteer (making friends who have become old now but were with The Mother) for about a year so far and visiting both Ashram and Auroville once every month, my experience has been in agreement with Lyn. For those who are familiar with Bailey and Cedercrans works will resonate with synthesis aspect of some of The Mother words on Auroville (from The volume 13 amongst 17 volumes of her collected works). A synthesis is firmly taking shape in my consciousness the proof of which I have shared in some tables in earlier posts and will be expanded in time to come.

Central Aim and Principle of Auroville (in her own handwriting image is attached) -

"Auroville wants to be a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities. The purpose of Auroville is to realise human unity." - 8 September 1965

Few of various messages on Auroville alluding to being one "planetary center of synthesis" (in Mother's visions of etheric realm) -

"The true spirit of Auroville is collaboration and must be more and more so. True collaboration paves the way to divinity." -22 October 1972.

"For everyone to agree each one must rise to the summit of his consciousness; it is on the heights that harmony is created."

April 1970.

"Auroville wants to be the first realisation of human unity based on the teaching of Sri Aurobindo, where men of all countries would be at home." - January 1972.

"Jesus is one of the many forms which the Divine has assumed to enter into relationship with the earth. But there are and there will be many others; and the children of Auroville should replace the exclusiveness of one religion by the wide faith of knowledge." - 1972.

Message for UNESCO (The magzine Courier carries the photo and articles of their dream - image attached)

"Auroville is meant to hasten the advent of the supramental Reality upon earth. The help of all those who find the world is not as it ought to be is welcome. Each one must know if he wants to associate with an old world ready for death, or to work for a new and better world preparing to be born." - 1 February 1972.

One of messages of hers, regarding Sri Aurobindo (I think of him to be one of the messengers of the coming World Teacher/Maitreya/Christ/Krishna-Kalki.)

Albert Einstein on Intuition

Albert Einstein and Rabindranath Tagore In Berlin , Germany - Some selected quotes and thoughts of Albert Einstein on intuition - The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. We will not solve the problems of the world from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives.  I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.  The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it Intuition or what you will, the solu

More on Synthesis

Again we shall contemplate on a few more words on the wisdom of synthesis (navigating the "narrow razor-edged Path" between duality or the "noble middle path" of Buddha) from our beloved DK. However I wish to emphasize that Djwal Khul and Alice Bailey demonstrated practical (not just theoretically) synthesis. For instance Alice Bailey being born in the west was open enough to acknowledge and bring forth teachings from a far wiser eastern/oriental master Djwal Khul. She could both surrender herself (a difficult quality to develop for the western concrete mind with its overemphasis on freedom) and at the same time was careful enough to guard herself against foolish blind devotion (a vice of oriental masses). Another disciple who demonstrated practical synthesis was Blavatsky (synthesis of religions). She established Theosophical society headquarters in the west and soon shifted it to the east although she worked and died for the cause of theosophy in the west. One mo

What is a seed-thought ?

One of my friends questioned me: What is a seed-thought ? This post attempts to throw some light with example, on the concept of a seed-thought. Here is how we define it: "A seed-thought is simply a thought-form or a phrase or symbolic words which conceal a fundamental truth and acts as a seed that sprouts in a contemplative meditation (meditation with a seed) revealing that truth." A Seed-thought being a (thought-)form, we need to look also the broader concept of "form as a symbol", of which a seed-thought is just an example. Earlier we tabulated so many example of trinities. "Purpose - Idea - Form" is one such trinity of symbol. What this means is that every symbol has three interpretations - as a from it is an expression of some underlying idea. This idea has behind it, in its turn, a deeper underlying purpose. These three interpretations of a symbol can be summarized as: 1. Exoteric interpretation:  Based on its objective utility and upon the nature o
